Position Overview
The Lead Jr. Associate role focuses on L1 Service Desk activities such as addressing customer inquiries and resolving technical issues. It is an entry-level position ideal for individuals with 6 months to 3 years of relevant experience.
Principal Accountabilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Service Delivery:
- Respond to customer inquiries across multiple channels: phone, chat, emails, web forms, and voicemails.
- Record, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service requests within defined scope.
- Strive to achieve client satisfaction while maintaining technical accuracy.
- Stay updated on system outages and communicate effectively with global customers (Americas, EMEA, APAC).
- Maintain adherence to SLAs and follow the incident lifecycle for assigned tasks.
- Team Interaction:
- Collaborate with supervisors for progress updates and guidance.
- Operate in 24×7 rotational shifts to ensure operational coverage.
People-Related Skills:
- Individual contributor role with the ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience:
- 6–36 months of prior experience, preferably in a service desk or technical support role.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic troubleshooting skills to diagnose and address technical issues.
Soft Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Flexibility in working hours and adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
- Positive attitude for learning and knowledge-sharing with the team.
Education:
- Non-engineering graduates (e.g., B.Sc. IT, BCA) from Tier 3 or non-tiered institutions.
