Role & Responsibilities
As a Software Developer – InterOp, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing software solutions for CAD data interoperability using C++.
- Researching, evaluating, and implementing algorithms to enhance CAD data exchange.
- Ensuring high-quality code by following best practices, conducting code reviews, and resolving quality issues.
- Collaborating with development partners to understand interoperability challenges and propose innovative solutions.
- Staying updated with the latest advancements in CAD software, file formats, and interoperability standards.
- Mentoring team members and sharing knowledge on best practices in CAD interoperability development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Mechanical, or related fields).
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in C++ programming in a commercial software development environment.
- Experience working with CAD software (such as CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor).
- Understanding of CAD file formats, geometry kernels, or 3D modeling concepts (a plus).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work in collaborative environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
