Role Overview
As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will ensure a flawless user experience across mobile, web, and backend platforms. This role involves functional, API, and multi-platform testing to maintain Swiggy’s high-performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional testing for Android/iOS mobile applications.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and cases for maximum coverage.
- Utilize tools like JIRA, Charles Proxy, and Postman to streamline testing workflows.
- Manage defect life cycle, prioritizing issues based on severity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate test cases against requirements.
- Perform multi-platform testing with attention to detail.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing principles.
- Knowledge of HTTP and REST concepts.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with tools like Selenium, Appium, LambdaTest, and BrowserStack.
- Experience with Java, Selenium, or Appium (preferred).
