Role Overview: Software Engineer I
As a Software Engineer I, you will be at the heart of technological advancements in sports analytics. This role focuses on developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions using modern cloud technologies and programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript. You’ll work with a team of skilled professionals who thrive on innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on both automation and manual testing, with a strong emphasis on test automation.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Python.
- Utilize AWS to build scalable, secure, and resilient testing environments.
- Containerize applications using Docker to ensure consistent test setups.
- Leverage the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for monitoring and analytics.
- Develop Bash scripts for automation of repetitive tasks and workflow optimization.
- Conduct database testing using SQL, ensuring data integrity and backend functionality.
- Validate APIs and develop automation scripts for testing API endpoints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python and experience with PyCharm, Docker, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Strong knowledge of QA processes, including test planning, test case design, defect management, and CI/CD practices.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Exposure to Machine Learning frameworks and Artificial Intelligence is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microservices architecture is an added advantage.
