Job Responsibilities:
- Develop in-database analytics functions and predictive models as part of the Data Analytics Production team.
- Work with cutting-edge AI technologies, including semantic search and large language models (LLMs).
- Create scalable solutions that integrate seamlessly into Teradata’s analytics platform.
- Contribute to innovative applications such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and recommendation systems across various enterprise use cases.
Collaboration:
- Work alongside a diverse team of experts focused on delivering high-quality Generative AI and machine learning functionalities within the Teradata Vantage platform.
- Report to the Manager of the analytics team.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, with a focus on algorithms.
- Experience:
- Building and operating distributed machine learning algorithms.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Java, or Python, preferably on Unix or Linux platforms.
- Familiarity with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Background in Natural Language Processing (NLP), information retrieval, or text summarization.
Key Skills:
- Strong foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Excellent debugging skills for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to produce technical documentation and runbooks.
- Familiarity with AI and large language models (LLMs) is a significant plus.
- Experience in writing unit and system-level tests.
