Adobe is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join its Creative Cloud platform team in Noida. This position involves contributing to the quality assurance of the Adobe Cloud platform by developing scalable code and conducting in-depth testing to ensure platform functionality, performance, and scalability.
Role Overview
As part of Adobe’s End-to-End (E2E) team, you will be responsible for testing Adobe Cloud’s core infrastructure, leveraging your Java expertise and automation testing skills. The role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about quality engineering and want to impact Adobe’s extensive user base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Java and frameworks like TestNG and JUnit.
- Build API automation test cases, utilizing Rest Assured for comprehensive API testing.
- Work with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Maven, and maintain version control with Git.
- Apply strong knowledge of software design patterns, scalable software design principles, and REST APIs.
- Contribute to Adobe Cloud’s functionality testing, ensuring performance and stability.
- Conduct problem-solving, root cause analysis, and debug issues to enhance platform quality.
- Collaborate on large-scale projects with cross-functional teams, utilizing effective communication and initiative.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in software development with a strong focus on API automation.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Java and data structures.
- Experience with testing tools like TestNG, JUnit, and Rest Assured.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes, especially Jenkins and Maven.
- Knowledge of design patterns, scalable software design principles, and RESTful APIs.
- Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Splunk is advantageous.
- Experience with distributed system architectures, load balancing, caching, and modern software systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively, manage projects, and handle complex problem-solving tasks.
