About the Role

Engineers in this role will develop a large-scale rendering system that ensures uniformity in the user experience, impacting thousands of daily customers.
As an SDE I, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing services that lay the foundation for the new UX platform.
- Reviewing and refining technical requirements.
- Writing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance code.
- Collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and client teams.
- Ensuring seamless customer experiences across Amazon Pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from design to deployment.
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and reusable UX components.
- Work in a collaborative, agile team environment.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.
- Implement and maintain security standards for payment pages.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 1 year of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C++, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
- Experience with UI/UX rendering technologies.
- Understanding of front-end and back-end architectures.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or cloud technologies.
