Role Overview
As an NLP Engineer Intern at Prodigal Tech, you will contribute to the development of NLP components for Prodigal’s Conversational Intelligence products. This role offers an opportunity to work with raw conversational data, creating regexes to identify key elements within complex conversations, and refining NLP models based on customer feedback and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop complex regexes to process and analyze conversational data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables.
- Evaluate and improve NLP models, sharing insights and recommendations.
- Discover patterns within conversational data to generate actionable insights.
- Continuously improve existing methodologies with feedback and performance data.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Python and Regular Expressions for text manipulation.
- Foundational Knowledge: Strong fundamentals in Statistics and Machine Learning.
- NLP Knowledge: Familiar with NLP fundamentals and text representation techniques.
- Tools: Experience with Git for version control.
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, NLP, or a related quantitative field.

- Familiarity with AWS and agile development practices.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and time management skills.
