Internship Details & Growth Opportunities
- Duration: 3-month internship (includes a probation period)
- Potential PPO (Pre-Placement Offer): Top performers will be considered for a full-time role at Neev after successful completion of the internship.
What You’ll Work On
As a Backend Developer Intern at Neev, you will be part of a team that builds and maintains scalable backend services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing backend services using NestJS and TypeScript.
- Designing and managing databases with Prisma ORM (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) & Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) systems for doctors, product testers, business teams, and paying users.
- Developing job scheduling and background processes using Bull and NestJS Scheduler.
- Integrating OAuth systems, Google Login, and JWT authentication for secure user access.
- Optimizing performance and implementing security features with Cloudflare (DNS, caching, and DDoS protection).
- Writing unit and integration tests to ensure reliability before production releases.
- Setting up CI/CD workflows and assisting with deployment processes for efficient code deployment.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for motivated individuals who have:
- Knowledge of NestJS and TypeScript, or a strong desire to learn quickly.
- Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with ORMs like Prisma.
- Understanding of authentication systems such as OAuth, JWT, and Google Login.
- Interest in background task processing (Bull, NestJS Scheduler) and task automation.
- A problem-solving mindset—you don’t need to know everything, but you must have the drive to figure things out.
- Attention to detail and ownership—someone who takes responsibility for their work, tests it thoroughly, and ensures smooth operation.
- A desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment, where you will be building, shipping, and learning rapidly.
