Position: Associate – Design (FWD)

About the Team

The design team at FWD comprises dynamic professionals with diverse expertise. They focus on delivering high-quality designs within budget constraints while handling both licensed brands and private labels across multiple categories. With a fast-paced work environment, the team thrives on creativity, collaboration, and staying ahead of industry trends.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and trend analysis to develop seasonal concepts.
• Design and develop Denim category collections, aligning with trends and brand aesthetics.
• Create Moodboards, Techpacks, Artworks, and Trims for seasonal and quick-turnaround collections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sourcing, Buying, and Raw Materials & Trims.
• Develop a deep understanding of target customers to inform design decisions.
• Ensure timely delivery of all processes from concept creation to product launch.
• Regularly analyze the product catalog and content while staying updated with emerging trends.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator and Photoshop, for design work.
• Communicate, present, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related specialization.
• Proficiency in design tools like InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in creating design packages and executing product designs.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
