Job Description:
Join L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC as a Software Engineer, where you’ll be involved in the development of machine learning systems to solve challenging real-world problems. This role is ideal for fresh graduates with an interest in data science and machine learning, with a strong proficiency in MATLAB.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop ML Systems:
- Create and improve machine learning models to address specific problems in a structured and scalable manner.
- Develop robust algorithms that can handle large-scale data efficiently.
- Implement ML Algorithms:
- Leverage appropriate algorithms and tools to design and build self-learning applications.
- Use MATLAB and other programming languages to optimize and implement machine learning models.
- Conduct Experiments:
- Validate the performance of machine learning models through rigorous testing.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experimental methods to evaluate model accuracy and efficiency.
- Data Management:
- Work with extensive datasets to train models, conduct statistical analysis, and fine-tune model performance.
- Use MATLAB for data preprocessing, feature extraction, and creating insightful data visualizations.
- MATLAB Integration:
- Integrate MATLAB into various machine learning workflows for data analysis and model simulation.
- Develop custom MATLAB scripts and functions to support machine learning processes.
Skills and Competencies:
- Data Science:
- A foundational understanding of data science principles and its application in real-world scenarios.
- Machine Learning:
- Experience with machine learning algorithms, and the ability to design and implement these models using MATLAB.
- MATLAB:
- Proficiency in using MATLAB for data analysis, algorithm development, and simulation of machine learning models.
- Programming Languages:
- Experience in using additional programming languages for data processing and machine learning tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) from a recognized institution.
Experience:
- 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in data science, machine learning, or software development, with a strong focus on MATLAB.
