🧠 About the Role — Software Engineer Intern
Join the IBM India Systems Development Lab (ISDL) and contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of IBM Systems products including Operating Systems, Firmware, Systems Software, Storage Software, and Cloud Software.
You’ll collaborate with global teams to design and build high-performance, cloud-optimized solutions for next-generation infrastructure.
🎯 Key Responsibilities

Analyze product requirements and design innovative solutions.

Develop, code, test, and validate IBM Systems software.

Work on operating systems, virtualization, and cloud technologies.

Collaborate across product management and technical teams to enhance product performance.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.

Programming Skills: C, C++, Java, Python, GoLang, ReactJS, Groovy.

Concepts: Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Operating Systems (Unix/Linux internals).

Technologies: Familiarity with Cloud & Virtualization tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Red Hat OpenShift.

Soft Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
💡 Preferred Skills

Experience with OpenStack, DevOps, Security, RESTful APIs, or GraphQL.

Web UI frameworks (React JS, Vaadin, Bootstrap/Material).

Hands-on knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, Ansible.
