Job Description
The Software Engineer role primarily involves firmware development, encompassing:
- Coding and Programming: Enhancements, updates, and modifications in DSP, embedded code, EFI drivers, EFI applications, BIOS, and UEFI.
- Testing and Debugging: Implementing test plans, identifying, logging, and resolving issues within assigned portions of the code.
- Collaborative Development: Building relationships with internal and external development partners to deliver high-quality, cost-effective firmware solutions for moderately complex products.
Key Responsibilities
- Development: Write and modify firmware code, applying machine language, assembly, and high-level programming languages like C and C++.
- Testing Protocols: Execute test plans and debug code to ensure reliability.
- Partnerships: Collaborate with internal and outsourced teams for firmware design and development.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues effectively within defined parameters.
Qualifications
