Job Description
Harris is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join its team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Core Java, JSP, Servlets, JavaScript/jQuery, Tomcat, and SQL Server. Additional experience in frameworks like Struts or Spring MVC, multi-threading, and RESTful web services will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and test complex, low-latency, client-facing applications.
- Implement software solutions using Core Java, JSP, Servlet, and JavaScript.
- Work with SQL Server for database operations.
- Handle multi-browser application development.
- Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, multi-threading, and file handling techniques.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Adhere to software development best practices and enterprise application design patterns.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Must Have:
- Core Java, JSP, Servlet, JavaScript/jQuery
- Tomcat, SQL Server
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts, multi-threading, and file handling
- Ability to analyze, design, and develop robust software applications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good to Have:
- Experience in CSS, RESTful Web Services
- Knowledge of Struts/Spring MVC Framework
- Familiarity with handling multi-browser applications
- Additional Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written & spoken)
- Quick learner with a passion for technology
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment
