This role within Google’s gTech Ads team is an opportunity to use your technical expertise to develop scalable solutions that enhance customer experience and maximize the potential of Google’s advertising products. As a Customer and Partner Solutions Engineer, you will work with global teams to innovate technical solutions, guide customers and partners, and support Google’s advertising ecosystem.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Java, C++, or Python for coding.
    • Experience in SQL, Web Technologies, and Technical Design.
  • Professional Skills:
    • Troubleshooting complex technical problems.
    • Stakeholder management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience with ad tech products, including:
    • Ad servers, DSPs, DMPs, and web analytics tools.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Problem-solving expertise with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for business contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Solution Development:
    • Collect requirements from stakeholders to design tailored and scalable solutions for Google’s ad products.
    • Scope, design, and build series of global best practices for customers, partners, and sellers.
  2. Global Scaling:
    • Adapt bespoke regional ads solutions into globally scalable models to support diverse customers.
  3. Lifecycle Management:
    • Oversee the solution lifecycle, from ideation and implementation to maintenance, feature updates, and eventual deprecation.
  4. Technical Expertise:
    • Leverage engineering skills to deliver reliable solutions for complex customer needs.
    • Address maintenance bugs and implement feature requests.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with teams in Sales, Product, and Engineering to enhance tools and services while aligning with evolving customer needs.
