Role Overview
As a DevOps Engineer at EazyDiner, you will be instrumental in enhancing the software development and deployment process, supporting seamless operations between development and IT teams. You will focus on CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and application performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for automated software delivery.
- Use Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to manage and scale cloud resources.
- Implement GitOps practices with ArgoCD to manage Kubernetes applications.
- Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for optimal performance.
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Provide technical support on DevOps practices to cross-functional teams.
- Ensure security compliance across all systems and processes.
- Document systems, processes, and DevOps practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in DevOps engineering.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, Ruby).
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD.
- Hands-on knowledge of IaC with Terraform.
- Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools like ArgoCD.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in AWS DevOps, Kubernetes, or related technologies.
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of security best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
