Engineer Trainee – IT Service Desk at Cognizant
Location: Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore (flexibility to relocate based on business requirements)
Compensation: INR 4,00,000 per annum

Job Description: The Engineer Trainee role at Cognizant’s IT Service Desk involves providing first-line technical support to global clients. The IT Service Desk team has over 15,000 members worldwide, supporting around 90 clients across different continents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving IT-related issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues promptly.
- Maintain documentation and knowledge base articles to facilitate problem-solving and support self-service options.
- Ensure client satisfaction through clear communication and efficient problem resolution.
Role Expectations:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with users from diverse backgrounds and different time zones.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and from the office.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A consistent academic record with a minimum of 50% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG (with no standing arrears).
- Open to Indian nationals, OCIs, and PIOs residing in India.
- Must be flexible to relocate and work across any shift or technology/domain as required.
Eligibility Criteria
- 2024 Batch of B.E/B.Tech of any branch (UG full time degree).
- At the time of registration, consistent academic record of a minimum of 50% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG with no standing arrears in current education.
- At the time of joining, all recruits need to have a minimum 50% aggregate in the pursuing degree with no standing arrears.
- Opportunities are open to Indian nationals / OCIs / PIOs who are currently residing in India.
- Flexible to relocate to anywhere in India, work in any shift / technology / domain, including work from office location basis business requirements.
Hiring Process:
