The role involves technical expertise in modernizing legacy systems using cutting-edge tools, methodologies, and frameworks. Key Responsibilities

Respond to RFPs and develop proposals.
Drive mainframe modernization services such as re-hosting and re-writing.
Consult on modern approaches like microservices, API-fication, and componentization.
Provide expertise in Mainframe Analytics and automation.
Use application discovery tools such as ADDI and Microfocus Analyzer.
Work with zConnect, DB2 Connect, and data analytics tools like IZODA and DVM.
Develop mainframe scripts using REXX and ZOWE.
Implement re-hosting solutions including Microfocus Server, Raintree, and Clarity.

Skills and Competencies

Technical Expertise:

.NET Core, .NET MVC, C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET Core, React, Angular, Spring MVC, Kubernetes, Docker.
Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure), DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, API integration.
Experience with frameworks like Hibernate, Maven, and Junit.
Proficiency in Microservices Architecture, Rest API, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).

Tool Expertise:

ADDI, Microfocus Analyzer, IZODA, DVM, IOA.
Re-hosting solutions: Microfocus Server, Raintree, Clarity.

Soft Skills:

Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Collaboration, Stakeholder Management, and effective Communication (verbal and written).
