Birlasoft Apprentice (Intern) – Engineering Graduates
Overview
We are looking for proactive and enthusiastic IT Service Delivery Apprentices (Interns) to assist in delivering high-quality IT services. This role provides hands-on experience in IT service management and delivery, focusing on testing processes, automation, and collaboration within Agile environments.
Education
- BE/B.Tech in CS/IS/IT/ECE/ETC/EE/Circuit Branches with mandatory programming knowledge.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, JavaScript, Python, or C# scripting.
- Knowledge of using SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Understanding of testing concepts and practices such as STLC, testing types, and test optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks like Selenium, UFT, or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of Agile Methodology: Sprint planning, retrospectives, burn-down charts, and defect triage.
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and assist in preparing test cases based on requirements.
- Contribute to developing automation scripts for testing.
- Execute test cases following the test plan.
- Identify, report, and track defects during the testing cycle.
- Prepare and manage test data required for testing.
- Participate in defect triage meetings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Eligibility Criteria
- 60% overall education.
- Graduation year: 2024 or 2025.
- No standing backlogs.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Document writing skills, including SOP preparation.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Flexible for any location and shift, as well as for technology and role.

Stipend
- ₹32,875 per month
