Role Overview: AI Engineer
As an AI Engineer at BCG X, you will:
- Develop AI/ML Pipelines: Build technology stacks for AI/ML use cases from concept to production.
- Data Engineering: Design data pipelines, handling structured and unstructured data for model training.
- Generative AI Development: Implement and optimize Generative AI models, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and fine-tuning techniques.
- Production Deployment: Deploy AI/ML models into production environments, ensuring seamless API integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Build AI/ML technology stacks from scratch to production deployment.
- Design data ingestion pipelines for AI model training.
- Develop Generative AI pipelines with orchestration and prompt engineering.
- Implement and optimize vector databases such as Pinecone and Chroma.
- Deploy AI models and build API layers using frameworks like Django and Flask.
- Utilize cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI and data engineering workloads.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: 1-3 years in AI, ML, Data Science, or Big Data Engineering.
- Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in Python (knowledge of R, Java is a plus).
- AI/ML Expertise: Hands-on experience with deep learning models, AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain), and Generative AI.
- Data Engineering Skills: Experience with DataBricks, Airflow, and vector databases.
- API Development: Proficiency in Django, Flask for AI model integration.
