Role Overview – IT Support Intern

As an IT Support Intern, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining Aspire’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations across endpoints, and assisting with cybersecurity compliance.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with leading tools like Google Workspace, Azure AD, and Intune, while learning how to troubleshoot, automate, and secure IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer IT platforms including Google Workspace, Azure AD, Intune, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

• Administer Windows 10/11 and macOS endpoints for Aspire’s workforce.

• Support Unifi network systems (office Wi-Fi, firewall, door access).

• Provide IT support, both on-site and remote, resolving hardware and connectivity issues.

• Handle IT procurement, including selection, testing, and configuration of end-user devices (Windows/Mac).

• Ensure compliance with security frameworks (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2 Type 2).

• Document IT processes in Notion and Confluence (FAQs, user guides, technical documentation).

• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to improve IT workflows.

• Manage user onboarding and offboarding.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently based in or open to relocate to Bengaluru or Gurugram.

• Strong knowledge of Windows & Mac systems.

• Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).

• Strong communication skills in English.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering (or related field).

• Self-starter mindset with the ability to learn quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AWS, Notion, Slack, and 1Password.

• Experience with Google Workspace, Jira, Azure AD, and Intune.

• Exposure to Linux command-line tools and Unifi network setups.

• Experience with incident management (Azure Sentinel preferred).

• Industry certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cloud+.

• Basic knowledge of compliance standards (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2).

• A personal GitHub profile or blog showcasing projects.
