About the CFR Team
The Credit and Fraud Risk (CFR) team is central to American Express’ operations. It focuses on minimizing risks while maintaining industry-leading credit loss rates. The CFR team works on end-to-end decision-making processes, including identifying the right customer segments, underwriting risks, and optimizing customer experiences post-onboarding.

Role Overview

Required Qualifications

Educational Background
- MBA or Master’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
Experience
- 0–30 months of experience in analytics, data science, or big data roles.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as:

- Spark
- Expertise in machine learning techniques, including:

- Neural networks
- Reinforcement learning
