๐ About the Role
As an SDE II on the Amazon Identity Services team, you will:

Design & build secure, scalable, and resilient systems that authenticate every Amazon customer worldwide.

Work on distributed architectures that process millions of transactions per minute.

Collaborate across Amazon teams to enhance customer identity infrastructure.

Deliver end-to-end features โ from design and architecture to deployment and monitoring.

Ensure high performance, reliability, and availability of mission-critical systems.
๐ง Basic Qualifications

โ 3+ years of professional software development experience (excluding internships)

โ 2+ years of experience in system design or architecture (e.g. scaling, reliability)

โ Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python)

โ Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

๐ Strong grasp of full SDLC including coding standards, testing, source control, deployment, and monitoring
