Description:
AWS Utility Computing (UC) supports the development and management of AWS services such as S3, EC2, IoT, and more. AWS continues to drive product innovation across compute, database, storage, and platform services. The role involves building scalable solutions for AWS’s Finance community through automation and customer-facing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define front-end architectures, implement components, and shape user experiences.
  • Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers.
  • Contribute to product development, testing, and operations as a part of an autonomous team.
  • Design and develop React-based web applications using component libraries like MUI.
  • Write efficient, testable code in React JS.
  • Mentor and support the growth of other developers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience.
  • Proficiency with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node.js.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in front-end, web, or mobile software development with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • 1+ years of experience with computer science fundamentals.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks like React and Angular.

Angular Frontend Developer – Hitachi Energy

Mission Statement:

Hitachi Energy seeks an experienced frontend developer to develop a new Single Page Application (SPA) using the Angular framework and Electron JS as the desktop solution. The role involves designing, developing, and testing SPA applications for both web and desktop environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop reusable components based on requirements provided by Domain Experts or Architects.
  • Create SQL objects such as Tables, Stored Procedures, and Triggers to maintain database integrity.
  • Analyze user requirements and contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
  • Write well-designed, testable code and resolve technical issues.
  • Prepare detailed design documentation and propose changes to the current .Net infrastructure.
  • Use Azure DevOps for task management and follow-up.
  • Support continuous improvement, explore alternative technologies, and present them for architectural review.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on software development experience using agile methodology.
  • Experience in Angular 16+, standalone components, micro frontends, and Electron JS for desktop apps.
  • Knowledge of JS drawing libraries like D3.js, p5.js, or Two.js is a plus.
  • Experience with migrating from .Net to Angular is a plus.
  • Experience with state management APIs like NgRX or Signals is preferred.
  • Proficiency in CSS, SASS, Vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and UI/UX component design.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented analysis, design patterns, and MS Azure.
  • Test-driven development experience.
  • Proficiency in English.
