Job Description
Job Family Definition
As an External Graduate, you will contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of software solutions that meet the needs of end-users. You’ll analyze requirements, design programs, write code, and perform debugging, testing, and documentation tasks. Additionally, you may interact with users to gather system requirements or suggest modifications.
Management Level Definition
This position involves assignments of limited scope, where you will apply your theoretical knowledge and technical concepts gained through education or prior experience. You will act as a team member, offering valuable insights, analyses, and recommendations to support team efforts while exercising independent judgment within clearly defined parameters.
Responsibilities
- Coding and Programming:
- Write code and implement enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of end-user applications running on various platforms.
- Follow specific requirements and instructions to ensure successful implementation.
- Testing and Debugging:
- Execute established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code.
- Identify, log, and debug any issues to ensure high-quality solutions.
- Collaboration with Partners:
- Build an understanding and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners.
- Collaborate on software application design and development.
- Project Participation:
- Work as part of a project team with other software engineers and development partners.
- Develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately complex products.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Degree:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
- Experience:
- Typically 0–2 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills
- Technical Proficiency:
- Basic understanding of software application design tools and programming languages.
- Knowledge of design principles for software applications running across multiple platforms.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong ability to analyze problems and develop logical solutions.
- Testing and Debugging:
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and debugging procedures.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with mastery in English and local language.
